RRB JE Notification and Reference books, study plan

Hi buddies.

After a long waiting, RRB released job notification for 14033 jobs.

Exams will be held in March or April.

Exam Pattern:

As per the latest update

There will be 2 level computer based exams.

Once after releasing CEN/ Official release of syllabus we will update section wise detail.

Common syllabus for the exam is as mentioned below.

Non technical:

General Science:
Which contains Physics, Chemistry and biology basics.

General Knowledge:
Which contains Geography, History, Politics and Economics.

Aptitude & Reasoning.

Technical:

For example if your applying for Mechanical JE jobs.

Mechanical engineering subject : waitage will be more

General engineering subjects:

General Engineering subjects includes

Electronics
Electrical
Civil
Computer sciences.

Books to be referred:

For General Knowledge: Lucent publications & Arihant publications.

For Aptitude & Reasoning: RS Agarwal.

For Sciences: Self preparation and daily notes are preferable.

Tips:

For GK Lucent is good. Both subjective and objective are available in market.
So can read and practice chapter wise which will eat less time and also boost confidence.

For engineering objective can refer GKP publishers.

Can refer to Khurmi objective book as well for technical.

Apart from this there are many apps readily available like Gradeup and TSat where you can cover GK and current affairs easily.
